BARS is now offering an introductory special on the set up, installation, training, maintenance, and service of an Internet Cafe in your assisted living or care home facility.
The time is ripe for you to offer to your residents the option of receiving emails…..….emails with attachments of their loved ones and those they long to see.  With a growing number of computer savvy seniors, aging baby-boomers and folks who have been “in touch” via the Internet, you want to be ready to offer connectivity to your families.  Relatives will especially appreciate the camera on the computer to see just how Grandma is doing.
BARS will set up one or two computers (or more) with cameras, and a printer.  Wireless keyboards are available for wheelchair patient use.  BARS will facilitate the connection with the local internet based on the availability in that area.  Designated staff will be trained.
The facility will provide the location and the furniture.  Designated staff will replenish the paper and ink.  Supplies can be purchased through BARS , if desired.

BARS-Senior Services / TLN Senior Care Training Modules

The TLN Pro-Mentoring courses at www.tlnseniorcare.com were developed at Master Teacher in Manhattan, KS as a result of a request for training at elder care facilities in western KS.  The modules were designed in conjunction with doctors and nurses associations and are now available for continuing education training in elder care facilities throughout the United States.
The courses average approximately one hour in length and provide training content as well as assessments that can be viewed by administrators to determine progress and retention.  New modules are scheduled for release in the spring of 2007 that will provide content and training on HIPPA regulations and procedures.  View our special pricing for the training modules below:
